Ordinary Objects, Finjan Candle Holder

The Finjan Collection pays homage to an object with a rich history deeply embedded in the hospitality culture across the Middle East - the Arabic coffee cup. By exploring alternative scenarios and uses, particularly in how we stack those cups, the collection aims to capture these unintentional gestures and forms by reimagining their uses. 

Founded by Lebanese artist and designer Tamara Barrage and Kuwaiti architect and designer Hamad AlMuzaini, Ordinary Objects reimagines traditional objects and rituals in the MENA/SWANA region by harnessing the expertise of local artisans and their traditional techniques.
