Shabab is a lifestyle brand and community-driven platform that was founded in 2012. Shabab, meaning “Youth,” draws inspiration from the worlds of sports and leisure. At Shabab, they aim to engage with and within communities - through merchandise and immersive experiences. Since its inception, we have collaborated with various artists, spaces and brands, both local and international.
Shabab has hosted a number of pop-ups, workshops, exhibitions and events, Bringing people together in various cities around the world including Dubai, Kuwait, Riyadh, Tokyo, Tunis and New York. They have participated at Dubai’s Annual Cultural Festival Sole Dxb for three consecutive years.
Their recent work was recently showcased In New York City as part of Yasiin Bey’s installation, entitled ‘negus’ at The Brooklyn Museum before making its way back to Dubai’s The Third Line Gallery.
