Bardaie’s ‘Bad-e Saba (saba the wind)’prints are a homage to the poetic essence of “Saba,” the wind. Drawing inspiration from both the landscape and the late photographer Karl Blossfeldt. The combination of ploughed lands’ lines and shapes, influenced by Blossfeldt’s unique perspective on plants, results in a fusion of scientific precision and imaginative expression.

Sahar Bardaie (b. 1977, Tehran) is a visual artist, illustrator and art researcher based in Tehran and Istanbul. Over the course of her career, she has led numerous specialized workshops in drawing and illustration in both Iran and Turkey. Her work has been showcased in various specialized exhibitions across Iran, Europe, and the United States, earning her multiple awards.
